Post by AndersG » January 30th, 2014, 2:33 pm

Only one part of a job fails, ie other OES11 and Windows boxes backup fine, apart from a Win2012 one, where we get this message? Any ideas? The backup server ca be resolved from the win2012 box. Agent is running

Hello,

in the "Day Log" you can see only the message, that the command "sbc -b..." (backup start) on the client have not worked, not why.

Please have a look at the backup log of the task. There you can see the real cause. May by it's better to set a higher loglevel for the job and start the job.

Thanks. Where do I find the log for that particular task?

You mean this:

Found this

The source was set to F:/Daily, E:

No idea whatsoever where F:/Daily comes from? The server has no F-drive, changed to just E:, let's see what happens this evening.

Hello,

in the sesam GUI, left side "Main selection" window -> "Job state" -> "Backups" doubleclick

This open the "Backups" tab in the right (middle) window.

Find the failed task and double click -> tab "Main log"

Hi,

please check the configuration of the task. It's possible that there is a wrong source ( F: instead of E: ) -> config not changed of changing E: / F: ?

Yes, that was it. Server should have an USB drive connected as F:, someone must have pulled it. Will investigate.
