Installing SEP Sesam on a virtual server

Hi all,

Is it possible to install SEP Sesam on a VMWare instance of OpenSUSE Linux in order to test disk backup?

I can't imagine it's not possible, it's just that I've not managed to find a reference that it can be used in this way.

Clearly a newbie.

Hi,

you can install sesam on a virtual box. In this case it's all the same for SEP, whether it's physical or not as long as the operating system is supported.
