Windows BSR error SMS0004

Hi

After installing and configuring BSR for windows backup when running the backup I get the error

"Error: Operation failed: ERROR: SMS0004: The specified device does not exist"

Can anyone give me an idea where to start looking for this error?

I can run a file backup of this Windows server, it is only the BSR which fails with this error

Hi,

this problem can occur when installing the Desktop version of CBMR. Try to install the Server version. If this doesn't work, copy the file xbsa.dll from your <sesam-root>\bin\sesam folder to the CMBR folder. Also ensure, the sds_sep.dll file exists in there.
